ILVR Executive Director

The ILVR Executive Director is the chief executive officer of the organization, responsible for establishing and leading its fundraising program; coordinating its outreach and visibility activities; providing liaison with ILVR donors, prospects, grant recipients and affiliated organizations and institutions; supporting the Board of Directors; and overseeing all administrative and operational activities.

The position of ILVR Executive Director is currently vacant.



Deborah J. Farrell Nelson
ILVR Director of Communications and Special Events

Deborah J. Farrell Nelson was previously Director of Development for Friends of the Shattuck Shelter in Boston; Manager of Communications for St. Francis House in Boston; Associate Director of the MaryHouse Shelter for Women and Children in Sacramento, CA; and Project Coordinator of Sacramento Cottage Housing in Sacramento, CA. She received her B.A. magna cum laude in Psychology and Design from Holy Cross College.

The Director of Communications and Special Events is responsible for developing and implementing strategic communications planning for ILVR; coordinating ILVR special events; supporting the formulation and administration of fundraising for ILVR; organizing and managing the ILVR administrative office; and working closely with the ILVR Board of Directors on other issues.
